Safety and Security

We take the safety and security of your children very seriously. We have several measures in place to make sure your children's basic needs of health and safety are taken care of daily.

SECURED ENTRY

Each family will be given an individual code that provides you entry to the building during business hours.  Otherwise, the doors are locked and visitors must be checked in at the front office.  There are key pads on both the front and back buildings.

SECURED PICK UP

Upon enrollment and on the annual enrollment form each year, families must list the names of people who are authorized to pick up the child from My House Daycare.  Only individuals on that list will be allowed to pick up the child.  Picture ID may be required if the staff is unfamiliar with the individual picking up the child.

CLEANLINESS AND DISINFECTING

Each child is required to wash his or her hands when they arrive at school each day.  Hand washing also occurs when moving to a new classroom space, before meals or snacks, and after outdoor play.  At the end of each day, all classrooms are cleaned, floors are vacuumed, and tables and chairs are disinfected.

ALLERGIES

If your child has any allergies (food, drug, insect, etc.) please let us know so that we can make proper accommodations for your child and make necessary adjustments to classroom and outdoor environments.

COVID19 SAFETY MEASURES

Because of the current COVID19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions in regards to cleanliness and safety.  Parents and family members are asked to stay only in the lobby of the building during drop-off and pick-up, if entry to the building is even necessary.  Each child's temperature is taken each day upon arrival.  A child with a fever will not be allowed to stay.  We are continuing our normal hand washing procedures and making sure frequently touched surfaces are cleaned throughout the day.
